Check me out, I’m kick ass!
So Olivet finally realized that I graduated and sent me my degree. Check it out! Below is a transcript of the emails that allowed me to finally be recognized as a graduate. Seriously, enjoy those. Especially if you are from Olivet. You’ll love to know this little tid-bit.
*I sent this message to tony grimm the assistant registrar*

I finished the requirements for my degree in December and got my final grades for the semester in December. I was wondering when I would be receiving the documentation that I have sucessfully completed my bachelors. Let me know please because I would like to have that.

*He forwarded it to carol reams, registrar assistant. she must have hit reply all to the messge instead of reply sender*
>>> Carol Reams 04/28/06 5:34 PM >>>
It would be good to check him out – he’s a pop05. I guess we’re supposed to know this from our crystal ball!
that he completed requirements.
*so i replied with this*

I would suggest replying only to sender instead of replying to all when you send a message that is obviously NOT intended to come back to the original person. That might help you keep up the whole Christian facade instead of making you look like a patronizing bitch.
Please let me know about the status of my degree. You shouldn’t need your crystal ball since I gave you my student ID .., which is 1107557 incase you misplaced it.

*and she sent me back this*
David, I apologize. I should have left work last eve long before I did and I wasn’t in the best shape to be checking one more graduate. I’m sorry.
The good news is that Dr. Knight reviewed your grad check and transcript this am and he’s made your grad date January 15, 2006! This is what I should have known — back in January. We just didn’t realize this and there isn’t a good system to keep track of all the August grads that finish up later rather than the year they walk.
I will order your diploma and mail it “certified mail, restricted delivery” when it comes in. Jostens will probably take about 3-4 weeks with an order this time of year.
Good success!,
Mrs. Reams
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!! Stupid Olivet people.
